The following is a listing of music-related events occurring in San Diego County. Some are acts performing traditional folk music from all over the world. Others are much more contemporary or are interesting combinations of both. And while many are local musicians, quite a few are from out of town. The best way to ensure that such versitile and wonderful music continues to thrive in San Diego is to go out and see it while it's here. So get going!

Jazz & Poetry Duo - Don Preston, former member of the Mothers of Invention, and foremost electronic music composer. Elliot Levin plays Saxophone for Cecil Taylor's Unit Core Ensemble in NYC. This is a specially arranged performance for their west coast tour of Los Angeles and San Francisco. Out Late Jazz Jam- Hosted by Dominic Mazzone of the Gilbert Castellanos Quintet. Jazz Jam session after the clubs close featuring San Diego, Tijuana and Los Angeles Musicians.
