SDAM.com Hosts Party To Announce Redesign Of Local Music Web Site

WHAT: Local music Web portal SDAM.com "San Diego Area Music" launches a complete redesign and content overhaul on Wednesday July 28th with a free public event. Local musicians "21 Grams," "Carol Ames" and "The Coyote Problem" will perform. Free raffle tickets will be available, prizes include valuable music gear from music manufacturer Carvin, concert tickets from 4th & B, and more. A limited amount of free food will be available, provided by local Caribbean restaurant "Isle N Style." SDAM.com will also be announcing an online sweepstakes, with prizes including a Carvin "C350" acoustic guitar.
SDAM.com was founded by local musicians in 1994. The site represents almost 1000 local musicians and music groups, and the new version of the site will allow visitors to search for local bands by genre (classical, jazz, rock, etc.). Links are also included to the local music "industry," including recording studios, venues, music instruction, and more. Operating as a subsidiary of Outside The Box, a local Internet marketing firm, SDAM.com also manages other music industry sites, including the American Federation of Musicians Union, Local 325.
